 Coaching Services

I approach physician career coaching different than other career coaches. My style is very practical and action oriented. I do not make you sign up for expensive “courses” or have you take lengthy psychological assessments to see if you are more of an “orange” or a “kiwi”. I’m focused on giving you direct advice and action plans to help you transition to your dream job within the next year.

My clients prefer having a choice of a variety of options when working with me. For some, they need to work with me each week along their journey while others may just want my direct career guidance for a few sessions.

My coaching covers all aspects of a career transition including but not limited to: how to search for jobs to apply, career mapping, networking strategies, CV and cover letter design, mock interviews, salary negotiation, and psychological components of transitioning careers.

All sessions can be done via telephone, FaceTime, or Zoom. It’s up to you.

All of my clients have direct access to me between sessions via email.

Here are some of the most frequent concerns I often address with clients:

  • How do I even go about finding a non-clinical career?

  • What careers are available to me? I’m just a regular outpatient doctor.

  • How do I get experience in UM or pharma? I don’t have any.

  • Do I need to be board certified? Do I need to be licensed?

  • What is UM? What is Pharma/Industry? What is a MSL?

  • How do I prepare for the interview?

  • How much money can I make? I’m nervous I won’t make as much as I do now.

  • What if I don’t like my new job? Can I go back to clinical medicine?

  • Don’t I need a MBA for that?

  • How do I negotiate salary, schedule, and PTO?

  • I’m overwhelmed with this process. What do I do?

  • I’ve applied to many positions but I either get ghosted or rejected.

  • How do I network?
